Visionne accepts current prescriptions from authorized prescribers and sells optical products and lens services. Visionne is not an eye-exam practice and does not replace comprehensive eye care.
1. Visionne's role
Visionne manages the website, product selection, optical order intake, frame inspection, manufacturing coordination, fulfillment, and retail customer support. Optical staff may check whether information is complete and suitable for production, but that production review is not a comprehensive eye-health examination or medical diagnosis.
2. Licensed provider's role
Where online prescription renewal or another clinical service is available, a separately licensed provider reviews eligibility and exercises independent professional judgment. The provider may approve, decline, or require an in-person exam. Visionne does not direct the provider's clinical judgment.
The provider may present separate informed-consent, telehealth, payment, and privacy terms. Those terms govern the provider's clinical service and records.
3. Your choice of prescriber
You do not have to use a provider made available through Visionne to purchase eligible eyewear. We accept a valid prescription from another authorized prescriber, subject to verification, product requirements, and applicable law.
4. Fees, billing, and records
Retail product charges and provider-service fees may be separate. The applicable flow will identify the responsible party before a charge is accepted. Requests for clinical records should be directed to the provider that created or maintains them. Visionne handles its own order and customer-service records under the Privacy Policy.
5. Urgent symptoms
Do not use a routine renewal or retail ordering flow for sudden vision loss, severe eye pain, injury, flashes, a curtain-like shadow, chemical exposure, or another urgent concern. Seek immediate in-person medical care or emergency services.
6. Questions
For Visionne retail questions, contact nyc@visionnework.com or 646-358-2763. Questions about a clinical decision or provider record should be directed to the provider identified in that service.
