California rules may require a specific notice before a business offers a financial incentive or price or service difference in exchange for collecting, retaining, selling, or sharing personal information.
1. Current position
As of the effective date, Visionne does not offer a loyalty, referral, newsletter, or membership benefit that we treat as a financial incentive or price or service difference under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Newsletter signup is optional and does not currently provide a discount.
2. Ordinary promotions
Visionne may offer publicly available prices, seasonal promotions, order-specific corrections, or customer-service adjustments. An ordinary promotion is not represented as payment for personal information and does not require you to waive a privacy right.
3. If a qualifying program is introduced
Before enrollment, Visionne will provide the material terms, the categories of information involved, how the benefit relates to the value of the information, how to opt in, how to withdraw, and any program-specific conditions. Participation will be voluntary, and we will not unlawfully discriminate against a consumer for declining or withdrawing.
